CHRISTMAS ON IRON We are kicking our annual Christmas drive into full gear. Since our inception we have provided a full dinner and gifts for needy families in the Metro-East area. To date we have assisted at least 100 families (ref: Post Dispatch). For those not familiar with our efforts, we collect non-perishable food items and toys to be distributed the weekend before Christmas. Oh yea we RIDE our motorcycles while SANTA (Action) pulls a trailer full of gifts driven by an elf (Satellite). I guess that makes us the reindeer Last year the St Clair County Sheriff's Dept. sponsored us for most of our toys. This year we picked up two more sponsors, Scott Credit Union (Cahokia branch) and Metrolink(eastside)
WESTERN DANCE: The PHARAOHS MC plan to return the love in Omaha the second weekend in September 08 and Detroit the third weekend in June 08. We are inviting anybody and everybody that want to join us. We plan to charter a bus for those that don't want to ride that iron. Since this wasn't our annual we didn't have a sign up list to start the night so we missed some clubs, but much love to everyone that was there and here are the ones I remember. Our condolences go out to the KING OF HEARTS MC, specifically the family of Jackie Tippin, who expired after a being in a coma for an extended period of time. Haven't heard about the arrangements yet.
We held our first Halloween Safe House at the PYRAMID on Halloween night. We invited everyone and provided food, candy, games, music and a costume contest. The kids and the adults enjoyed the evening
